Portage Glacier, Alaska
I wanted this shot to represent the true image of Alaska—a moonlit glacier. I knew the moon was full and set up my tripod on the edge of the glacial pond. The night was freezing, but adrenaline fueled me as I saw the glow of the moon rising over the horizon. It was an incredible experience, amongst the glaciers and icebergs lit by a full blue moon. My entire body was full of goose bumps when I pressed the shutter.
