Uluru, Australia
I had spent nine days struggling with clear blue, bland skies in the red center of Australia. I never shoot in this light; I have to wait and wait for something special. For the tenth time, I set my alarm and headed to this location. It was a warm night and as I headed out to Uluru, things felt different. I took some sunrise images, and was pretty happy. As I headed back to my camper, I noticed the skies change completely. The heavens went nuts! I knew this was it and shot off roll after roll of this awesome sight. Moments later, the wind picked up and the whole scene changed in front of me. It was a magical moment I’ll never forget.
