The artwork of the aboriginal people depicts the ‘dreaming’ of these ancient clans. These legends are the spiritual framework on which they base their culture, and each painting represents an important legacy to Australia’s modern culture. I wanted to capture an image which would not only do justice to the incredible skills of the artist, but that would also tell a story. In this beautifully detailed painting, the rainman is depicted, who local legend tells us would beat his horns together calling on the rains to fall.
