The deep red mineral rich sands of the Simpson are in a constant state of flux - hot desert winds moulding and shifting the dunes, changing the landscape almost hourly. The strong afternoon sun highlighted the vertical ridges of this imposing dune and I captured this powerful image of a perfect sculpture from the hands of Mother Nature.
