Photography is all about light and perspective — and you need both when shooting New York City. I wanted a shot that truly stood apart from the millions already taken, something unmistakably my style. That vision led me beneath the bridge, where strength, symmetry, and light collided in perfect balance.

I chose a panoramic format to exaggerate perspective and isolate the structure within the frame. Blowing out the background created a surreal, painterly atmosphere — a big risk, but one that paid off. The reflected light and long exposure brought the steel to life, revealing texture, rhythm, and power. River Titan breathes with its own sense of scale and energy — a moment that captures the unmistakable spirit of New York City.
