The snow-capped mountains indicate that it was getting close to winter in Wyoming. I had been waiting all day for the afternoon light. As I began to shoot, the perfectly clear day became disturbed by the formation of clouds. I was concerned I would lose the shot I had been waiting for. But as this shot shows, the clouds actually enhanced the scene with their outline casting light over the tips of the mountains.
